Apothecary-2-Go Project Description
Apothecary-2-Go was the perfect blend of past experience and technical creativity! 🌟 As my final project for a Master’s level Front-End Web Development class, it was inspired by my time as a pharmacy assistant, a role I held while supporting myself through my undergraduate degree. Back then, I often wished I could modernize the archaic software we used to make day-to-day tasks more efficient and user-friendly. Fast forward to this project—I turned those ideas into reality! 💻✨
The result was Apothecary-2-Go, a one-stop-shop platform designed for pharmacists, suppliers, and patients alike. Patients can seamlessly request their medications, pharmacists can efficiently manage and fill those requests, and pharmacists can also reorder supplies directly from suppliers—all in one streamlined system. Every feature reflects real-world needs I observed firsthand, from simplifying workflows to enhancing communication between parties. This project was not just a technical challenge; it was a way to bring meaningful change to a process I’d always wanted to improve. It was an incredible opportunity to apply my skills to a solution that could make a real difference! 💊📲✨
